Director’s Message

The human brain has long been characterized as the most complicated and sophisticated organ. For generations, scientists have marveled at these complexities of the brain and its capacity to shape our consciousness and navigate the world around us. We have strived to understand how genetic, environmental, and traumatic insults can give rise to some of the most devastating human diseases.
Children are the future of our community. Our collective well-being is only as strong as the children we raise together. Happy, healthy children and their families keep our community vibrant. Today’s world presents infinite challenges for children. Our goal is to assist children to be emotionally and developmentally prepared, ready to face the challenges so that they become successful in their school and home environments. Our new initiative in this direction is the establishment of “Child And Adolescent Mental Health services”, located at Pioneer Park, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. It is a division of the “Clinic Brain Neuropsychiatric Institute And Research Centre”. This new initiative will specially cater to the needs of children and their families who are experiencing mental health difficulties and associated issues. Our team of specialists with proven track record will work closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each child’s communication, development, learning and cognitive needs are fully evaluated and adequately addressed. We offer them opportunities to learn new skills to help them to help themselves.
